Investigation Points to Husband: Allegations of Stalking and Murder Surface in Tangipahoa Parish Tragedy
The police figured out that Lisa’s husband David Hernandez was the main suspect. The couple had been apart for a year during which David kept showing up uninvited at Lisa’s work. It’s said that David sent Lisa flowers with lilies even though she was allergic to them and put a tracking device on her car. On the day of the terrible event David is said to have made it look like a break-in at Lisa’s home and then threw evidence into Lake Pontchartrain. But the investigators found the things he threw away from the water. Later on April 15 detectives arrested David Hernandez and accused him of second-degree murder and hiding evidence. They put him in the Tangipahoa Parish Jail. This sad situation shows how dangerous domestic violence can be and how important it is to help people in abusive relationships early on.
