Pennsylvania’s Most Dangerous Cities
Wilkes-Barre
Wilkes-Barre is the seventh most dangerous city in Pennsylvania that had a lot of thefts in 2020. Americans need to be careful about keeping their things safe especially after going to Mohegan Sun Pocono. Burglaries happen a lot here and it’s smart to invest in home security. Wilkes-Barre also had a high number of rape cases ranking tenth in the state.
Harrisburg
Harrisburg is the capital of Pennsylvania and has a lot of violent crime. Harrisburg had a lot of reported rapes and murders making it one of the top cities for these crimes in the state in 2020, . There’s also a lot of property crime here with many burglaries happening.
New Kensington
New Kensington is the fifth most dangerous city and has a big problem with theft. Americans there have a high chance of having their stuff stolen and violent crimes are also reported frequently. Being near Pittsburgh doesn’t shield them from these issues.
Wilkinsburg
Wilkinsburg is a borough with lots of murders making it tough for its residents. There were many murders reported in 2020 and burglaries happen often. It’s one of the top places in Pennsylvania for both violent and property crimes making it a challenging place to live.
Pottstown
Pottstown is the third city in our list where it has a troubling statistic. It has less violent crime than other cities but it ranks high for reported rapes. Chester is the oldest city in Pennsylvania and is struggling with crime. It’s been around for a long time and crime is still a big problem here. Burglaries happen almost every day and there are a lot of murders. It’s one of the most violent cities in the state showing that safety is a major concern for residents.
