A Woodland Hills woman caused the death of her two children after abandoning them on the freeway.
The Crime Of The Woodland Hills Woman
A Woodland Hills woman crashed into a tree in Redondo Beach and died. Earlier that morning, the Woodland Hills had argued with and stabbed a man she lived with in Woodland Hills before fleeing with her two children.
The Woodland Hills woman’s children, ages 8 months and 9 years, were found abandoned on the shoulder of the northbound 405 freeway. The Woodland Hills woman’s infant died, and the older sister was injured.
According to a published article by the Orange County Register, the Woodland Hills woman was driving at high speeds before the crash. The man she stabbed was found dead in their apartment. A knife, believed to have been used by the Woodland Hills woman, with forensic evidence was found at the scene.
A Different Murder Case
In a published article by the Daily Mail, Tommy Ray Belin, a parolee and offender, has been arrested and charged with murdering a woman at a motel in Pomona in February.
The victim, Andrea Bustillos, was found unconscious with injuries and pronounced dead at the scene. Belin is scheduled to be arraigned on charges of murder, assault, and failing to register as a transient.
He has a history of prior convictions including forcible, domestic violence, kidnapping, and possession of a controlled substance. Belin was arrested on March 21 and is currently being held without bail.
