Support for East Buffalo Businesses: Grants Offered for Those Affected by Shooting
In East Buffalo, New York, businesses especially those owned by Black Americans are getting help after a terrible shooting, according to the published article of Black Enterprise. They can apply for money from $5,000 to $50,000 to help them recover. This money comes from a program run by the Empire State Development (ESD). It’s meant to help businesses especially those near the Tops Friendly Market where the shooting happened almost two years ago.

East Buffalo Businesses Receive Over $800,000 in Aid
The program has already given over $800,000 to about 70 businesses in East Buffalo. Hope Knight from Empire State Development and Valerie White from LISC NY say they want to make it easier for East Buffalo businesses to get help. This program is a way for the community to come together and support each other during tough times.
