Tragic Shooting Incident Involving Nashville Security Guard

In a distressing event, a Nashville security guard lost his life during a confrontation at Illuzion Bar and Lounge. According to the Tennessean, the guard, named Maurice Thomas Jr. 33 years old, encountered multiple car burglars while patrolling the parking lot on St. Patrick’s Day. A heated argument happened, leading to gunfire that fatally wounded Thomas.

Isaiah Moore, 19 years old, was taken into custody on Tuesday. He was arrested on charges of criminal homicide and vehicle burglary in connection to the incident. The suspects fled the scene, leaving Thomas with no pulse.

Progress in Nashville Security Guard Shooting Case

Following the incident at Illuzion Bar and Lounge, two teens have been arrested in connection to the death of 33-year-old Maurice Thomas Jr. Quinton Sullivan, 18 years old, and Isaiah Moore, 19 years old, face charges related to criminal homicide and vehicle burglary. According to WSMV, Sullivan’s bond is set at $540,000.

Security footage captured the confrontation between Thomas and the suspects, providing crucial evidence for the ongoing investigation.  The police have said that they are expecting to arrest at least one more.
