According to  EA Courier, two Republican proposals in Arizona’s state Legislature are causing arguments about how they might affect people who need help buying food. These SNAP bills led by Rep. Leo Biasiucci want to make people who get SNAP benefits have to work or do training. They also want to stop the Arizona Department of Economic Security from asking for exceptions to these rules for certain people.
