According to the report of YAHOO NEWS, House Republican leaders are working together with Democrats to pass a law that would make the Chinese owners of TikTok sell the app or stop it from being used in the U.S. Former President Trump who previously wanted to ban TikTok has changed his mind and is now against this law. He worries that banning TikTok might upset young people and help Facebook get even more popular. Trump switch has made it hard for lawmakers to decide what to do as they try to balance supporting Trump and being tough on China before the elections.
