Senator Marco Rubio Raises Concerns Over CCP Influence in American Media
Rubio Highlights China Daily Role in Spreading CCP Propaganda in U.S. News
According to the report of FOX NEWS, Senator Marco Rubio recently wrote a letter to big American news companies. He worried about how the Chinese Communist Party is trying hard to influence American institutions especially through the media. Rubio talked about China Daily a big CCP group saying it working to spread the party ideas through American news. He said China Daily is even spreading false information like denying the bad treatment of Uyghur Muslims in China.

Senator Rubio Urges American Media Vigilance Against CCP Influence
Rubio mentioned some paperwork from 2021 called FARA filings. China Daily has been labeled by the U.S. State Department as a foreign group tied to the CCP. In his letter Rubio told American companies including news outlets to be careful not to support the CCP actions or lies. He wants them to keep their honesty in reporting and not let outside influences especially from authoritarian groups like the CCP change that.
