Accoding to 10 News San Diego, Starting March 7, individuals in San Diego affected by the floods on January 22 can seek assistance from CalFresh. CalFresh is a California program that assists families with low incomes in purchasing healthy food. Those residing or working in the areas impacted by the floods can fill out a form known as CF 385 to receive financial aid for food.

Applying for help is straightforward, with options including filling out the CF 385 form online at benefitscal.com, contacting Access at 866-262-9881, visiting a Family Resource Center, or going to one of the FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers. The amount of money individuals receive depends on the size of their family and their monthly income, with larger families receiving more assistance, and there is no set limit.
