Loud Party Complaint Leads to Fatal Stabbing of Teen in Riverside

According to abc7, A tragic incident unfolded during a  Riverside gathering party early Sunday morning where two teenagers were stabbed and leaving one of them fatally wounded. Riverside Police Department responded to a complaint about a loud party in the 3400 block of Gay Way around 12:20 a.m. Officers found two teen boys suffering from stab wounds. Despite efforts to save him, one of the teenagers succumbed to his injuries at the scene while the other was rushed to the hospital with a non-life threatening stab wound.

Community Demands Answers as Riverside Stabbing Leaves One Dead, Others Injured

Police received information about a third teenager who had also been hospitalized with an unspecified injury potentially linked to the stabbing. Authorities detained the teen and suspecting their involvement in the incident. Police do not believe anyone else was involved in the stabbing and all individuals implicated were described as high school aged. Further details regarding the events leading up to the stabbing remain undisclosed and leaving the community shaken and seeking answers about the tragic occurrence.
