The issues in these cities are not solely Washington’s fault. With Washington being the 13th most populous state it is natural to have some problems due to the large population.

In 2020 alone Tukwila witnessed a staggering 530 car thefts and 222 burglaries highlighting the severity of the situation.   6. Spokane. There are still safe neighborhoods but certain areas require significant improvement to address crime concerns.
  7. Union Gap. With its unique history of buildings being moved north to form, Yakima faces challenges with property crimes ranking third for property crime rates in the state.
