East Valley Neighborhood Shaken by Early Morning Violence

According to CBS News, a tragic incident unfolded at an early hour in Las Vegas leaving two women dead and a man injured after a shooting at a local convenience store. Authorities revealed that the suspect described as a Black man wearing dark clothing and possibly a mask and fled the scene on a bicycle. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department urged anyone with information to come forward to aid their investigation.

The shooting which occurred in the East Valley neighborhood was reported around 3:25 a.m. Multiple witnesses inside the store alerted the police. Surveillance footage captured the suspect approaching the store opening fire and swiftly departing. Two victims were discovered within the store while another was found in the parking lot. While one woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene the other victim, a man remains in stable condition after being taken to a local hospital.

Las Vegas Police Department Continues to Work Tirelessly in Search of the Shooter

Lt. Jason Johansson of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department stated that there is a possibility the shooting was targeted as one of the victims might have known the shooter and efforts are underway to investigate the motive behind the attack and to arrest the suspect who remains at large. Johansson emphasized the urgency of the situation and urged the community to assist law enforcement in bringing the criminal to justice.
