Low-income residents in Boulder, Colorado can soon apply for the Colorado rebate application. The Colorado rebate application has been around since 1967.

The Colorado rebate application and program aims to reduce the financial burden of city sales tax on food for those in need. Individual residents who will be approved for the Colorado rebate application will receive $104 for 2024, while qualified families will get $318, both increased from the previous year.

According to a published article by the Washington Examiner, eligibility for the Colorado rebate application includes having a disability, being 62 or older, or being a family with children under 18 for all of 2023, along with meeting specific financial requirements.

The maximum income allowed regarding the Colorado rebate application depends on family size. In 2023, Boulder approved 1,093 applications out of 1,241, with payments totaling $162,000.

A Direct Payment Program

In a published article by The US Sun, small business owners in Michigan, particularly in Flint, may be eligible for a direct payment program through the Moving Flint Forward project.

The Flint & Genesee Economic Alliance is distributing ten thousand grants, with an additional $5,000 for seven program graduates. To qualify, businesses must have 20 or fewer employees, be located in Flint, not be a franchise, and use the money for specific purposes like expansions or repairs.
