Reviewed security footage, all 4 of the stolen jet skis were towed off the owner’s driveway using a U-Haul truck in the dead of the night.
Four Jet Skis Thefts In The Long Island
Nassau County has recorded four jet ski thefts. Reported by the NBC New York, first jet ski theft happened at Locus Valley on January 20, second happened on January 23 on William Road in North Massapequa, third happened on January 28 in East Meadow and the recent incident happened on Tuesday, February 27 in Massapequa on Division Avenue.
Jet Ski owners found out through their security camera footage that individuals were getting out of the U-Haul truck, hitched their jet ski onto it and calmly drove away. This happened around 3 a.m. when most residents are sleeping.

No Comment From Nassau Police But Gave Some Advice
Joe Batista and David Gottlieb are some of the owners of the stolen jet skis. They said that they felt horrible and violated. They hoped that the police will be able to locate the stolen jet skis. Batista also said that he hopes that the thieves will mess up soon so the police will get them.
There are no comments yet from Nassau Police but told the owners to secure their jet skis by putting it behind a fenced area or by blocking it with a car to make it harder to steal. The police and Batista want the public to call the police if they hear anything suspicious or if they see a U-Haul truck driving around at 3:15 in the morning.
