22nd District Manhunt: Suspects Sought in Robbery/Shooting Incident

The Central Detective Division received a complaint of a robbery and gunshot on the 1200 block of West College Avenue at 9:18 PM on February 6, 2024. He was confronted by two Black guys on the block, according to the complaint.

According to the complaint, one of the assailants flashed a handgun and struck him in the face, pushing him to the ground. The criminals searched the complainant’s pockets and stole a duffel bag with a phone, laptop, and wallet.

During the confrontation, the complainant tried to regain his balance, causing the armed suspect to fire one bullet past him. The perpetrators departed in a dark Kia Optima vehicle, maybe as passengers.

Description of the Suspects

Suspect #1: A Black guy, 18–25 years old, wearing a dark knit cap, hooded jacket, jeans, and light sneakers. Suspect #1 had a gun.

Suspect #2: A Black guy, 18–25 years old, wearing a light hooded sweatshirt, dark jacket, dark slacks, and light sneakers.

Central Detective Division of 22nd District is asking for public help identifying the people in the CCTV footage. Anyone with information about the culprits or incident should call the police.

This report documents the complainant’s details and will be used in the investigation to find and capture the offenders.
