171 illegal immigrants convicted of heinous crimes, including first-degree murder, rape, and child molestation, were apprehended in the most recent U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operation. The 16th through the 28th of January were devoted to the operation, which specifically targeted individuals suspected of endangering America’s communities. Patrick J. On the contrary, a decline in the apprehension and expulsion of criminal illegal immigrants has generated apprehensions during the current administration. According to the Centre for Immigration Studies (CIS), arrests and deportations of criminal illegal immigrants have decreased significantly under the current administration, which raises concerns regarding the approach to immigration enforcement and public safety.
