Prosecutor Pierre Griffith told a New York jury that Moises Coronado, 27, told Randall’s Island shelter security guards that he stabbed Dafren Canizalez, 35, many times because “he needed to get revenge.”
Griffith said Coronado “made statements indicating that he was not a punk and that because the deceased had punched him earlier he needed to get revenge and even asked the security guards to let him go so that he could go and finish the job,” of the deadly Jan. 6 attack.
