In Pittsburg, BART police successfully apprehended a 17-year-old suspect on Tuesday morning, accused of firing shots that left two individuals injured at the Pittsburg Center BART station the previous week.
BART Surveillance Nails Teen Shooter
Video footage from BART’s camera network played a crucial role in identifying the teen. The arrest occurred around 10:30 a.m. in Walnut Creek, with the teenager surrendering without incident, and authorities believe no other suspects were involved.
The shooting incident occurred at approximately 3:50 p.m. on the station platform. Following the incident, an unidentified person transported one male victim to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
The police have provided no updates on his condition. Another male victim arrived at a hospital a few hours later, reported to be in stable condition.
