Russia and China may re-elect Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping for a third term despite their two-term constitutions, while the UK may conduct reform elections. Significant violations and the Supreme Court’s Capitol uprising verdict could limit Trump’s re-election eligibility.

The British diplomatic corps and other governments worry about managing a Trump presidency. BRICS membership by Iran is notable. Countries like Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa want a multipolar world to reduce US dependence. It highlights Russia and Iran’s terrible US relations.

The US administration is losing global support as awareness of the Israel-Palestine issue and Palestinian persecution rises. Russia and Iran’s influence has grown as BRICS expands, changing geopolitics. Despite its large GDP, the bloc encourages multipolarity and challenges US primacy. These mechanisms cause international power and alliance shifts.

Troubles in Gaza

Gaza didn’t improve after Antony Blinken’s visit. Israel has permitted the UN to oversee the return of Gazan Palestinians from the north to Gaza City, but the south is bombed, killing civilians. Lord Cameron has warned of war crimes and called for a humanitarian pause to fight malnutrition and accompanying diseases.

Benjamin Netanyahu said the conflict may last months and involve Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthis in the Red Sea. While Israeli fanatics propose sending Palestinians to the Sinai desert or enacting apartheid, the world mainstream, including Arab neighbors, supports a two-state solution. Anthony Blinken advises Saudis to assist Palestinians prepare and defend against Israeli attacks. Peace requires diplomatic pressure on Israel and Greater Biden involvement.

Civil engineer and international affairs expert Dr. J Scott Younger advocates for a Gaza resolution and American leadership to pressure Israel and promote a two-state solution for lasting peace. For Palestinians, he recommends President Biden to be tough on this foreign policy issue.
