Drew Ogletree of the Indianapolis Colts was arrested for domestic violence.

According to Indiana court documents, tight end Drew Ogletree of the Indianapolis Colts was taken into custody on suspicion of domestic abuse following a physical fight with a lady.

Charges for Domestic Violence

Ogletree, 25, is charged with two major felonies: battery inflicting physical injury and domestic battery in the presence of a juvenile.

The accusations are related to an event that happened in Hendricks County after a quarrel over infidelity, where Ogletree is accused of body-slamming a woman and causing moderate injuries.

According to the affidavit, Ogletree acknowledged shoving the woman down, but the woman said he body-slammed her once she found out about his infidelity on his phone.

Legal Proceedings and Team Response

Presently, Ogletree is detained without bond at the Hendricks County Jail, awaiting a court hearing scheduled for Tuesday.

The Avon Police Department responded to the scene, finding the woman injured and incapable of movement. She was promptly taken to a hospital for medical evaluation.

The Colts, acknowledging the allegations, informed the NFL and assured their commitment to gather additional details while stating their seriousness towards such matters.
