Despite no official agreement, US and allied fears exist. For the Center for European Policy Analysis, Chels Michta warns that a full-scale China-Russia alliance would threaten the U.S. like never before. In global crises like Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, China has supported Russia economically and politically, while the U.S. has supported Ukraine.
