Americans across the country will receive an amount of $5,000 after Snap Finance agreed to a $1.8 million settlement.

Snap Finance offers consumers all types of credit across the country, but a data breach occurred between June 23 and September 8, 2022. This has affected the confidential and important information of the consumers which led to the filing of a lawsuit against Snap Financing.
In a published article in The U.S. Sun, Snap Finance did not accept any wrongdoing but they agreed to pay an amount of $1.8 million settlement. Those who believe are qualified for this claim must submit their requirements on or before anuary 16, 2024.

$5,000 in Free Money From Snap Finance Settlement
According to an article published in Top Class Actions, claimants need to provide documents that will prove data-breach related expenses. It is expected that there will be around 60,000 consumers of Snap Finance who are eligible for this claim.
Furthermore, the plaintiffs of the filed lawsuit said that the data breach could have been prevented if Snap Finance had taken reasonable precautions to protect their information. Moreover, claimants can also receive two years of free credit monitoring services from the settlement.
