$7,500 in Free Money Will Be Given to Eligible Residents in Maryland

Millions of Americans nationwide are looking forward to free and extra money to help them face the increasing inflation rate. This tax season, Americans from different states are waiting for the different rebates that will hit their bank accounts or will be sent through mail.

In a published article in The U.S. Sun, the taxpayers in Maryland are one of the lucky residents in the country because they can claim an amount of up to $7,500 if they own electric vehicles. Additionally, they can also get another $700 if they install a home charging station.

How to Qualify?

According to an article published in Press Bee, the state of Maryland provides $3,000 for electric vehicle owners who bought after July 1, 2023 “until the money runs out,” Frank DuBois, an associate professor at American University said.

The Maryland State Government said on January 1, 2023 that eligible owners of electric vehicles are entitled to:

• 15% of the vehicle purchase price for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles
• 30% of the vehicle purchase price for EVs and FCEVs
