Uncovering Clues and Key Persons of Interest in the Jackson County Double Murder Case

According to the source, two suspects have been apprehended in connection with a double murder involving skeletal remains discovered in Jackson County after a two-year-long investigation. The investigation, initiated in 2021, involved the execution of more than 25 search warrants to uncover critical evidence in this double murder case.

Jeremiah Castro became a person of interest in the murder case following an interview during the investigation, and later, Willtaye Young was identified as another person of interest in the murder. On October 11, remains were located and subsequently identified as belonging to Nicholas Hollis and Stephon Gaines, victims of this double murder. The next of kin was notified of this grim discovery related to the murder.

Willtaye Young is presently incarcerated at Gadsden County Jail for various charges, including possession of cannabis of more than 20 grams, carrying a concealed firearm, and dealing in stolen property, all in connection with the double murder case.

Suspects Apprehended and Facing Multiple Charges in Double Murder Case

He also faces separate charges in Leon County for kidnapping and has now been charged with two counts of double murder and principal to the double murder in relation to this case.

Jeremiah Castro was apprehended by the U.S. Marshal Service on October 19, near Atlanta, and he, too, faces two counts of double murder. He is currently undergoing the process of extradition to Jackson County to face these charges related to the double murder case.
