China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi spoke on the phone with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken about the Middle East conflict happening in Israel and Gaza. Further reports say Wang and Blinken also discussed U.S.-China relations that seem to show signs of stabilizing.
A statement from the ministry of U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken revealed that on October 14, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi spoke on the phone with him about the Middle East conflict happening in the country of Israel and the land of Gaza.According to an article in Reuters, the statement from Blinken’s ministry also revealed that China’s Foreign Minister demanded a gathering of an international peace conference as soon as possible. In addition, the statement also disclosed that China’s Foreign Minister warned about the conflict between Palestine and Israel to be escalating with risks getting out of control.
Lastly, according to the statement, China’s Foreign Minister also told Blinken that China is against all acts that would endanger civilians and does not approve of practices that violate international law.

China’s Foreign Minister With U.S. Secretary of State
An article in The Straits Times states that apart from the conflict in the Middle East, China’s Foreign Minister and the U.S. Secretary of State also discussed the relations between the U.S. and China which according to Wang were showing signs of stabilizing.
