Los Angeles Angels will start looking for a new manager as they announced on Monday they will no longer renew the contract of Phil Nevin for next year.

Phil Nevin’s Deal Comes To An End

According to ESPN, the announcement regarding Phil Nevin’s deal comes a day after the Angels completed the season at 73-89. As Phil Nelvin’s first managerial position ended, he recorded a 119-149 throughout his career. Phil Nevin priorly joined the Angels coaching staff for the 2022 season as the third base coach. After Joe Maddon was discharged from his position obtaining a 14-game losing streak in the middle of the game, Phil Nevin was promoted to Angels manager in June 2022.

Now That Phil Nevin’s Out, Angels Are Now On The LookOut

After removing Phil Nevin as a candidate for manager, the Angels are set to search for a new manager for 2024- their fifth different manager in seven seasons. Although the Angels did not immediately plan for a news conference with general manager Perry Minasian after the season finale Minasian is scheduled to have a word with the members of the media on Tuesday.
