Additionally, Fife has experienced violent crime, with four homicides in 2020, making it the city with the highest murder rate in Washington among its 10,301 residents.

Tukwila follows on the list and is also deemed one of the most dangerous cities in Washington due to its exceedingly high overall crime rate, nearly seven times the national average. In 2020, Tukwila residents faced a 1 in 6 chance of experiencing property crime, including 530 car thefts and 222 burglaries. While enjoying a day at Crystal Springs Park can be pleasant, it’s advisable to have company and return home before dark in Tukwila.

Although its violent crime rate is only slightly above the national average, property crime rates are significantly elevated. Spokane, with a population of 220,432, reports a violent crime rate of 381 per 100,000 residents, a murder rate of 2.3 per 100,000, and a property crime rate of 3,846.2 per 100,000, solidifying its status as one of the most dangerous cities in Washington.
