Guan Yue Juggles 16 Jobs, Collects Paychecks Without Working

A Chinese woman, known as Guan Yue, is facing fraud charges for holding down 16 jobs simultaneously without working at any of them. Oddity Central reported that this case of deception spanned over three years, during which she collected paychecks from various employers but never showed up for work. Guan Yue and her husband documented each job, her roles, and the bank account details for her monthly salaries. She even attended job interviews and sent photos to her current employers as proof of her activities, successfully maintaining the illusion for years.

Guan Yue’s scheme went further as she occasionally passed on job interviews to others in exchange for commissions while continually seeking new employers when dismissed for poor performance. However, her fraudulent activities began to unravel when one of her former employers, Liu Jian, discovered her resignation letter in an online work group. Liu Jian realized that she had been working elsewhere during her tenure with his firm. He reported his findings to the authorities, leading to the exposure of a massive fraud operation worth over 50 million yuan.
