North Carolina Man Stage Play
According to WECT, the North Carolina man refused to be represented by a council and opted to defend himself. After nine months of jail time, he was left off the hook through a $50,000 bond. His son reported him as missing when he was expected in court last August 7. According to the sheriff’s office in St. Charles Parish, they suspected that the North Carolina man staged his death to avoid charges but avoided broadcasting it as it might tip him off.
In the report, patrol officers tried to stop a motorcycle on Sunday around 3:00 A.M for not having a license plate. It turned out that it was the North Carolina man who attempted to escape by speeding away and eventually crashing his motorcycle which led to his arrest.
