It is as if 36-year-old Novak Djokovic winning the grand slam became a routine as he bagged another title after defeating Daniil Medvedev in the US Open Final on Sunday, September 10 at Flushing Meadows.

The 36-year-old player ruled Medvedev with the score 6-3, 7-6 (5), 6-3. This accomplishment of the 36-year-old player has equaled Margaret Court’s record haul of 24 Grand Slams and leading over Rafael Nadal. Well, this was not about rivalry with Nadal but instead, it was proof that the 36-year-old man still got the physical and mental edge over the younger challengers. The 36-year-old Serbian player hails the title of being the oldest US Open men’s winner in the Open Era and the first to bring home three Grand Slam events in a season for the fourth time.
