Mistaken Identity: Rapper Lil Uzi Vert’s Photo Shared in Stolen Puppy Alert by Pennsylvania Police

According to TMZ, in a case of mistaken identity, rapper Lil Uzi Vert’s photo was featured in a Facebook post by the Wilkes-Barre Township Police Department regarding a stolen puppy from a pet store in Pennsylvania. However, it turns out that the rapper Lil Uzi Vert was not the actual suspect involved in the dognapping.

The police later removed the post with rapper Lil Uzi Vert’s photo and replaced it with a different individual who had facial tattoos and was the real suspect accused of taking a puppy from Brookside Pups.

The confusion arose because the person allegedly responsible for taking the puppy had used rapper Lil Uzi Vert’s face as their profile picture on a social media account, which was shared with the police by the pet store. The police initially relied on this image provided by Brookside Pups.

However, they corrected their mistake after realizing that rapper Lil Uzi Vert’s facial tattoos did not match those of the actual suspect. Brookside Pups then provided a new photo for the police to use.
