The Washington Man Got Lucky

The story starts with a Washington man named Joseph Waldherr, a postal worker from Tacoma who noticed a meowing sound during his work shift. According to Parade, the Washington man had been hearing the noise in the same spot for two days before he finally took action and discovered a tiny black-and-white kitten with peach-colored cheeks, which now has the name “Peaches”.

Thinking that it might be his lucky day, the Washington man, still safeguarding the feline in the pocket of his sweatshirt went to a local convenience store later in the evening after his work to buy a HIT5 lottery ticket. For a few days, the Washington man forgot about the ticket, he scanned the code with his wife and a “See Lottery Office” notification appeared on his phone screen.

The Washington man was in awe with his wife as they tried to glance closely at the winning numbers and realization hit them, they got a huge cash out of $717,5000. After they claimed the money, the Washington man and his wife treated their family to dinner.

Of course, the Washington man was very happy and grateful for the unforgettable experience which is why they decided to take care of Peaches. We just want to help others,” the Washington man said.
