In the 2020 presidential debates, CNN reporter Jake Tapper claimed that former president Donald Trump was “right” and current president Joe Biden was “wrong” about Hunter Biden’s lucrative business deals with China.  Hunter Biden’s denials of Trump’s allegations that he got funds from China and other foreign business transactions were examined by CNN’s Jake Tapper at a discussion on “The Lead” on Thursday.

Tapper: President Trump was correct

According to the show’s transcript provided by CNN, Tapper stated President Trump was correct. He is saying that Joe Biden was mistaken since he did make a fortune from China. He is unaware that he misled us about it. Hunter might not have told him. The issue is this blind spot, though.

In an article from Just The News, Tapper questioned former representative Andy Levin, a Democrat from Michigan who lost his member-on-member race in 2022 in a redrew district to Rep. Haley Stevens. Tapper asked Levin if the president’s remarks on the first son’s financial dealings troubled him.

Levin replied, “Well, I think dads and parents occasionally have blind spots about their kids, for sure, and the President may be no exception.” However, there is no evidence connecting the President to any of Hunter Biden’s dealings. There isn’t even a hint that he might be connected to it or implicated in it. Additionally, I don’t believe that voters give it any consideration.

Since beginning a thorough inquiry after gaining control of the House in the 2022 midterm elections, House Republicans have provided papers and testimony that purport to demonstrate the Biden family’s dubious actions.

When Hunter Biden tried to enter a guilty plea last month to misdemeanor tax charges and a diversion arrangement for a felony guns charge in order to escape jail time, his international business dealings were made public in court. When the judge questioned the deal’s legitimacy, it fell through, and the prosecution then requested the court to disregard the agreement, reports from Yahoo.
