Clarence Thomas’ Bribery Case

The Clarence Thomas’ bribery probing request was made by five House Democrats including Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, Jamie Raskin, Hank Johnson, Ted Lieu, and Jerry Nadler, as they initially submitted a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland, saying that the gifts Thomas got from Harlan were considered “in defiance of his duty under federal law.”

All of these House Democrats have also signed a new letter indicating Thomas’s discharge from his post.

According to data disclosed by Insider, Clarence Thomas’ bribery also entails the SCOTUS Justice who reportedly received extravagant gifts such as having been treated to many vacations and boarding private jet flights among others.

There was also some circulating news about Crow and Thomas back in April where Crow allegedly gave Thomas “20 years’ worth of undisclosed trips” but later revealed that Crow reportedly bought Thomas’ mother’s house and let her stay there rent-free.

Clarence Thomas’s Bribery Consequences

Clarence Thomas’ avoidance of financial disclosure was said to imply a “disregard for judicial ethics and legal violations” adding that all individuals regardless of position must not evade the law. Thomas refused to give an immediate comment to a press request.

Thomas filed an extension for a financial disclosure saying that he was oblivious to whether he should disclose his trips with Crow or not. Crow, on the other hand, claimed that all of this revelation where part of a “political hit job”. He also avoided giving comments to a press request.

So far, there will be two different investigations that will be conducted following Clarence Thomas’ bribery case, one is for Thomas disclosure rules and the other is for Thomas and the other justices.
