The Tupac Shakur case is in progress as the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department issued a search warrant to the city of Henderson. Reports say American rapper Tupac Shakur was killed during a drive-by shooting in 1996.
On September 13, 1996, American rapper Tupac Shakur, 25, was killed during a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada. Shakur was known as one of the greatest artists in Hip Hop as he sold over 75 million records worldwide along with several multi-platinum LPs.According to Grove, as an actor, Shakur appeared in classic films such as Above the Rim, Juice, Poetic Justice, and several others. In 2017, Shakur was introduced into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. In May 2023, a street was also named after Shakur in the city of Oakland in California.

An article in The Guardian states that on July 17, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that the Tupac Shakur case is in progress as a search warrant had been issued to the city of Henderson.
A spokesperson for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Aden Ocampo Gomez, states that the authorities could not disclose any further information regarding the most recent development in the Tupac Shakur case.
