Tennessee Soccer Coach Charged with Drugging, Raping Teenage Boys Also Entered U.S. Illegally

Camilo Hurtado Campos was charged with drugging and raping teenage boys who he recruit into his soccer team. Further reports say the Tennessee soccer coach also entered the U.S. illegally at an unknown date and location.

On July 9, staff at a local restaurant reported that Camilo Hurtado Campos, 63, left his phone and when they went through the device to locate the owner, they discovered several videos and images of teenage boys. In some of the files, Hurtado Campos was seen capturing himself while raping teenage boys who were unconscious.

According to Sabes, Hurtado Campos has resided in the city of Franklin in Tennessee for the past 20 years. Further reports say the suspect was a frequent visitor to the area’s school playgrounds where he would recruit teenage boys for his soccer team.

Authorities stated that after the Tennessee soccer coach gained the children’s trust, he would invite them to his house where he allegedly drugs and rapes them while the children are being unconscious. In the end, the Tennessee soccer coach was accused of ten rape incidents where two of the victims have already been identified. As a result, the Tennessee soccer coach was charged with two counts of aggravated child rape.

Tennessee Soccer Coach Illegally Entered U.S.

According to Whittington, authorities revealed that the Tennessee soccer coach was not inspected by immigration officials and was able to enter the United States at an unknown date and location. On July 10, a day after his arrest was announced, the Tennessee soccer coach was issued with an immigration detainer by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
