Israel Powell was last seen with his 4-year-old sister before he allegedly went missing. In search of the missing 3 year old, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office deputies recovered a body at Jamieson Lake in Tennessee.
In a post on Twitter, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office announced that 3-year-old Israel Powell went missing on the evening of July 6. Further reports say the missing 3 year old was last seen on July 7 at around 1 a.m. with his 4-year-old sister on the 5100 block of Laurel Springs Dr. in Memphis.However, according to Sabes, the mother of the missing 3 year old only realized that her children were missing at around 5 a.m. on July 7. When the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived at the location in the early morning of that same day, only the 4-year-old sister was found.

Searching the Missing 3 Year Old
An article in FOX 13 Memphis states that at around 1 p.m. of that same day while searching for the missing 3 year old, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office deputies recovered a body at Jamieson Lake. Reports say the lake was only a nine-minute walk from where the missing 3 year old was last seen. However, the authorities have not yet officially identified the body recovered belongs to the missing 3 year old.
