On November 30, 2021, Ethan Crumbley, then 15, was accused of shooting four students to death and wounding seven others in Oxford High School in Michigan. On October last year, Crumbley entered the plea, pleading guilty to four counts of first-degree murder, one count of terrorism causing death, and nineteen other charges in connection with the Michigan high school shooting incident.

However, an article in CNN states that on June 22, the prosecutors of Oakland County revealed incidents of Crumbley’s disturbing behavior in the county jail he was imprisoned in. According to court filing, the Michigan high school shooting suspect’s behavior was documented through reports and body cameras of jail personnel.

According to an article in The Guardian, the filing also stated that Crumbley’s recent behavior must be considered in court regarding his ability to participate in hearings in the future. However, prosecutors argued that the Michigan high school shooting suspect’s behavior should not affect his guilty plea. This is because the behavior cited was recent and did not happen at the time Crumbley entered his plea.
