Ohio Father Indicted for Aggravated Murder of Three Young Sons, Pleads Not Guilty

Chad Doerman, a 32-year-old Ohio father has been indicted by a grand jury in connection with the tragic shooting deaths of his three young sons.

Indicted Ohio Father Killed His Sons

On June 15, authorities responded to a shooting report at a residence on Laurel Lindale Rd. in Monroe Township.

Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered Ohio father Doerman sitting on the steps with a rifle beside him. A distraught woman had already called 911, frantically stating that her “babies had been shot.”

Just minutes later, another witness called authorities to report that a young girl was running down the road, shouting that her father was killing everyone.

According to prosecutors, Ohio father Doerman allegedly confessed to executing his sons, Clayton (7), Hunter (4), and Chase (3), in a cold-blooded manner, PEOPLE reported.

He reportedly shot them execution-style and even chased down one of the boys when he attempted to flee into the nearby woods.

Body-camera footage obtained by local news outlet Fox 19 captured the arrest of Ohio father Doerman.

The video shows him being forced to the ground and subsequently handcuffed. When questioned by a deputy about the situation, Doerman calmly responded, “Nothing.”

Tragically, the deputies discovered three lifeless children in the yard, all of whom had been shot. Despite efforts to save them, the boys were pronounced dead at the scene.

The children’s mother, a 34-year-old woman whose identity has not been disclosed, was also injured during the incident.

She reportedly sustained a gunshot wound to her hand while trying to shield her children from the attack and is currently recovering in the hospital.

Indicted Ohio Father Pleads Not Guilty

The indictment of the Ohio father, which includes nine counts of aggravated murder, eight counts of kidnapping, and four counts of assault, was issued on Thursday.

Despite the charges, Ohio father Doerman has pleaded not guilty.

Clermont County prosecutor David Gast described the heinous act, stating, “He was their world, he was their guardian and he executed them in cold blood.”

Court documents obtained by Fox 19 reveal that the Ohio father Doerman had allegedly planned the attack for several months, suggesting a premeditated act of violence.

In the wake of this devastating event, a  GoFundMe campaign has been established by the boys’ aunt to help cover funeral expenses. The page has garnered an outpouring of support, with donations surpassing $235,000 as of June 23.

Currently, the Ohio father Doerman is being held without bail in the Clermont County Jail. His next court appearance is scheduled for July 5, as reported by WCPO.
