Having used Google between 2006 and 2013, you need to act quickly to win the $23 million pot
There are now over 1 billion Google users worldwide, and most people in the United States likely use the search engine for work, play, and school. If so, you may be entitled to free money between Google and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. To be eligible to receive the money, you must be a member of the class and submit your claim by July 31st. This is the only way to receive payment in accordance with our billing terms. By doing nothing, you waive your right to financial compensation. The payment to individuals is estimated at $7.70 per person according to a website set up by the settlement’s manager.
Thanks to a class action lawsuit, millions of people who used Google as their search engine between 2006 and 2013 may be eligible for a one-time settlement
The lawsuit claimed that searches included sensitive information such as names, addresses, phone numbers, and even social security numbers, “increasing the risk of identity theft.” The class action lawsuit was filed about ten years ago. The statement accused Google of “storing and intentionally, systematically and repeatedly sharing” users’ search results and history with third parties between 2006 and 2013.
