Missouri Shooting: Two Wounded Including 36-Year-Old Man And 7-Year-Old Girl! 

A manhunt is currently underway in Missouri for a 24-year-old woman, Samantha J. Thrasher, wanted in connection with a shooting incident at a hotel near Kansas City, Law & Crime reported.

Missouri Shooting Leaves Two Wounded

The incident occurred after an argument between Thrasher and a hotel employee over a refund, resulting in two individuals being wounded. The victims include a 36-year-old man who suffered multiple gunshot wounds, including one to his testicles and a 7-year-old girl who was shot in the elbow.

Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for Thrasher on charges of felony first-degree assault and armed criminal action. The police have urged the public not to attempt to apprehend her, as she is considered armed and dangerous, and instead advised anyone with information to contact the authorities.

The Missouri shooting took place at the SureStay Plus Hotel in Blue Springs, which is known for its safety and lack of disturbances. The incident, therefore, came as a surprise to the local police department. Responding to a 911 call reporting a Missouri shooting inside the hotel, officers discovered the injured man and girl.

According to witnesses, the altercation began when Thrasher drove her vehicle onto the curb in front of the hotel, almost hitting the victims. An argument ensued between Thrasher and the hotel employee when she demanded a refund, resulting in Thrasher allegedly assaulting the employee.

The male victim intervened and escorted Thrasher out of the hotel, but she returned moments later with a gun and opened fire, striking both the man and the young girl.

Surveillance footage captured Thrasher rummaging through her vehicle before retrieving the gun and reentering the hotel lobby to carry out the Missouri shooting. She then fled the scene in her Tahoe.

Missouri Shooting Victims

The male victim underwent surgery for his injuries, which included gunshot wounds to his back and testicles, while the young girl required medical attention to remove the bullet from her elbow and underwent reconstructive surgery.

Law enforcement authorities have been actively investigating the case, interviewing witnesses, collecting evidence, and reviewing surveillance footage.

They obtained crucial information, including the suspect’s license plate number and her Kansas state driver’s license, which was provided by the hotel desk clerk.

As the search for Samantha J. Thrasher continues, prosecutors have requested a $200,000 bond. The community remains on alert, hoping for a swift resolution to this distressing incident and the apprehension of the suspect.
