Under this plan, the city aims to utilize a portion of the $4.2 billion allocated for supporting migrants to incentivize residents by paying them to accommodate migrants in their homes, Blaze TV reported.

Concerns About Mayor Eric Adams Proposal

In a recent appearance on “The News & Why It Matters,” Chad Prather humorously remarked, “So, Eric Adams is listing your home on Airbnb, basically. And they’re going to rent it out from you and let illegals live there.”

He further questioned the mayor’s personal commitment by asking how many migrants Mayor Eric Adams would host in his own residence.

Sara Gonzales expressed reservations about Mayor Eric Adams’ proposal, particularly highlighting the implications for law and order.

She referred to the situation in New York City hotels that have housed illegal immigrants, stating, “It’s almost like you don’t have respect for the country’s law upon entering the country illegally.”

Both Prather and Gonzales voiced concerns about potential risks associated with this initiative, such as violence, property damage, or theft. Gonzales emphasized the need to consider who would be held accountable if any untoward incidents were to occur on a resident’s property.

Prather brought up the alarming possibility of crimes like rape.
