The Austin police claimed a man reached them and admitted to killing two people, which led authorities to investigate his possible involvement in the 10 other murder incidents.

The Austin police Said The Murderer Of The Two Victims Confessed His Crimes

On May 24, it was reported that 62 years old Raul Meza Jr, confessed his crimes to the Austin police via phone call and claiming that he murder his roommate  Jesse Fraga 80-year-old, and involved himself in the 2019 murder case of Gloria Lofton, according to Austin Police Department officials at a Thursday news conference.

Tuesday, Meza is detained following a five-day manhunt on four charges, including capital murder, with a $1 million bond, according to court records. Police said that when they arrested Meza they discovered that in his bag it contained duct tape, zip ties, and a handgun withholding additional rounds.

Det. Patrick Reed was the one who answered Meza’s initial call, he said that according to Meza that he was eagerly prepared to kill anyone again and he was looking forward to it. Reed also spoke with Meza again once he was detained.

In the call with Meza, Reed also said that he was claiming to state that “you are looking for me.” Moreover, Meza describes his relationship with Jesse Fraga and detailed how he murdered Fraga, including details that had not yet been released to the public.

CNN has reached out to Meza’s court-appointed lawyer for any comment.
