New Jersey

The Affordable New Jersey Communities for Homeowners and Renters (ANCHOR) program provides eligible homeowners who earn less than $150,000 per year with Stimulus Check 2023 worth $1,500. However, if their annual income is more than $150,001 but less than $250,000, they will receive $1,000.

On the other hand, according to Notheis, renters who earn less than $150,000 per year will receive $450. Reportedly, applications for the program have already ended last February 28 and the Stimulus Check 2023 has started getting distributed this month.

California

The Middle Class Tax Refund of California provides eligible recipients with Stimulus Check 2023 ranging from $200 to $1,050. However, to be eligible, an individual must have been a resident of the state for at least 6 months during the 2020 tax year. By October 15, 2021, they must have also filed their 2020 tax return. Lastly, they must have not been claimed as a dependent during the said tax year.

To date, the state of California has already distributed Stimulus Check 2023 worth more than $9 billion. Reportedly, the payments have started last October 2022 and continued until February 14 this year. Nonetheless, there is still a chance to claim the checks if an individual believes they may have been eligible but never received them.

New Mexico

According to Severi, in April, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham of New Mexico announced that the state will distribute Stimulus Check 2023 to residents who filed a 2021 personal income tax return last June. Individual tax filers will receive $500, while joint filers, heads of household, and surviving spouses will receive $1,000.
