Oklahoma’s governor signed an education budget that includes more teachers, more funding for local schools, and tax cuts for school choice.

The bill stipulates all Oklahoma families are eligible for the private school and home school tax credits

Nearly $1 billion will be invested in this education effort, making it the largest education investment in Oklahoma’s history. We are investing heavily in our education system. As of 2019, school selection has become a top priority to ensure parents are empowered, the governor said. The School Choice Act would create at least $5,000 in tax credits for families as part of a broader education package that will make the state more competitive nationally. One Lawton Mother reminds the government about the effectiveness of the bill to clarify
