The date is set for sentencing the racist who fatally shot 23 people and injured dozens more at an El Paso Walmart in 2019.

El Paso Walmart Mass Shooting Incident

Patrick Crusius 24 years old pleaded guilty to 90 charges in connection with shooting 23 people to death and injuring dozens more at  El Paso Walmart mass shooting on August 3, 2019.  A sentencing date is also set this June 30, 9 AM  at the Albert Armendariz Sr. Federal Courthouse in Downtown El Paso with U.S. District Court Judge David C. Guaderrama presiding.

The admitted white supremacist is facing life in federal prison. Moreover, the US Attorney’s Office decided not to pursue the death penalty against Crusius.

El Paso Times reported that Patrick Crusius just went to El Paso to attack shoppers on a Saturday morning grocery store visit and once he was there at the place he then uploaded a racist rant online declaring, “This attack is a reaction to the Hispanic invasion of Texas and I am only defending my homeland from cultural and ethnic replacement carried on by an invasion.

Crusius uses a semi-automatic assault-type rifle before surrendering to authorities near the busy grocery store.

Here Are The  Hearing Schedule Of Patrick Crusius

An outline schedule of Patrick Crusius for his sentencing hearing.

  • June 30 – this coming June 30 will be the discussion of the present report. To hear and resolve any objections to the Report.
  • July 5 – July will be the victims’ impact statements.
  • July 6 – The following day will be the conclusion of victim impact statements.

During the February plea hearing the federal prosecutors requested Judge Guaderrama to punish the mass shooter to 90 consecutive life sentences and Crusius pleaded guilty to:

  • 23 counts of hate crimes leading to death
  • 23 counts of using a firearm to execute murder during and about a crime of violence
  • 22 counts of hate crimes involving an attempt to kill
  • 22 counts of use of a firearm during and about a crime of violence

Around 40 victims or family members of those who died in the El Paso Walmart mass shooting are resent in that same courtroom when Patrick Crusius pleaded to his charges.
