Brad Mehn was sentenced to life in prison for torturing and killing Roy Jaggers, who was forced to walk off a cliff in Nevada. The murder suspect was the third among the others who have already pleaded guilty last April.
Roy Jaggers, then 27, was allegedly lured to the house of Heather Pate, then 27, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Prosecutors say Jaggers was handcuffed, beaten, wrapped in a tarpaulin, and stuffed in the back of a vehicle. Thereafter, the suspects drive him to Nye County where he was tortured for hours with several weapons like knives, ax, and a blow torch.According to Stimson, following the torture, Jaggers was forced to strip and walk off a cliff. On August 1, 2021, Jaggers’ remains were reportedly found at the bottom of the Cathedral Canyon, almost 60 miles outside of Las Vegas. The Sheriff’s Department of Nye County states that the murder was brought on by baseless accusations that Jaggers had abused Pate’s son.
