Investigators from the Houston County Sheriff’s Office found the dead body of the missing pregnant teenager from Florida.

Missing Pregnant Teenager from Florida

A man was arrested in connection to the disappearance of the missing 19-year-old teenager from Alabama, Anastasia Gilley, who was later found dead in Florida. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said that she was last seen at her home on May 3.

In a published article in TRUE CRIME DAILY, detectives arrested Marquis Devan McCloud, 33 years old, and they charged him with capital murder. It was also found that the teenager was four months pregnant at the time of her disappearance.

Meanwhile, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was working closely with the Houston County Sheriff’s Office in Alabama. On May 10, the investigators found the dead body of the 19-year-old pregnant near Headland, Alabama. The cause of death is not yet known but an autopsy was already conducted.

Suspect Remained Uncooperative

According to a report published on FOX59, McCloud remained uncooperative throughout the entire investigation. Moreover, McCloud and Gilley have known each other but the extent of their relationship remained not clear to the investigators.

Furthermore, McCloud was initially arrested by the officers for violating parole because he crossed state lines from Alabama to Florida.
