Two Bloomington firefighters were injured upon battling a house on raging fire near Bush Lake in Minnesota. Residents have been safely evacuated, but the house is unfortunately a complete loss.
In the evening of May 8, Bloomington firefighters have battled a house on raging fire near Bush Lake in the state of Minnesota. Reports say even from miles away, the smoke plumes were visible and flames were seen coming out of the roof of a house at the 8900 block of Mariabo Circle between Southeast Anderson Lake and Bush Lake.An article in CBS News states that the Bloomington firefighters worked for several hours to extinguish the raging flames. Unfortunately, two firefighters from the Bloomington Fire Department reportedly suffered minor injuries because of the incident. On the other hand, residents have been safely evacuated although the house unfortunately became a complete loss.

Bloomington Fire Still Under Investigation
According to an article in FOX 9, drivers along the Highway 169 also reported seeing the smoke plums all the way from Bloomington. The tower camera of FOX 9, a television station in the U.S. also showed the flames coming out of the house’s roof as the Bloomington firefighters used aerial hoses to extinguish the raging flames.
Fortunately, the Extra Alarm Association of the Twin Cities confirmed that all residents were able to safely evacuate from the burning house. However, it is still not clear if anyone had been injured. Reports say apart from the Bloomington firefighters, several others, including the firefighters from Eden Prairie, a city in Minnesota, also extended their assistance in extinguishing the house on fire.
