Massachusetts direct payments up to $400 will be available to Chelsea, Massachusetts residents, Washington Examiner reported.

Residents of Chelsea, Massachusetts will receive up to $400 in direct payment from the food and utility subsidy program. The payments will be ranging from $200 to $400 and will be available to 738 households on May 15 this year.
This program is from Chelsea Eats that aims to provide Massachusetts residents with their food and utility costs. The money will be automatically loaded into qualified residents’ debit cards which were issued last March.
The Massachusetts direct payments amount will depend on how many people are in their household.
A household of 1 receives $200, a household of 2 receives $300, and a household of 3 or more will receive $400, according to Chelsea Eats program website.

How To Qualify For Massachusetts Direct Payments?
To be eligible for the Massachusetts direct payments, families must be residents of Chelsea and have a household income of %30 less than the median area. Households of 1 must make less than $29,450, and households of 2 must make less than $33,650, the threshold increases for each additional member of the household.
This Massachusetts direct payment is the third and final payment of the program. The first direct payment was issued last March 15 and the second was issued on April 15. Sadly, the program will end after this next payment.
